if u know then its really easy for u to understand it...
g=GM/R^2
now if r decrease then g increase
now by binomial the power 2 is taken in front
now r decrease 1 percent
but by binomial g increase by twice the decrease in percentage of r
and hence 2 percent increase
it is all the game of binomial theorem
binomial theorem is applied only when changes are less than 5 percent
