thus amount of rainfall=5* 100000000

since , 1 meter cube =10^6 cm cube+1000000 cm cube

so, 5*100000000/1000000 m cube

=5*100 m cube

=500 m cube

as 1 m cube=1000 liters

500 m cube= 500*1000 liters

=500000 liters  

so amount of rainfall that day is 500000 liters
