Raisins will 'absorb' the water. Raisins are hypertonic compared to water (they have more solutes compared to the water) so they will suck in the water around them in the attempts to achieve the same ratio of solutes compared to solvent. The cold water will not have an effect since the raisin is in water. Water is able to pass through a raisin's membrane. Temperature affects the permeability of membranes (the higher the temperature the more permeable a membrane since phospholipids in the membrane become denatured).
