Concept-

Use the concept of =SUMPRODUCT(B1:B4,A1:A4)

By default,  SUMPRODUCT function in Excel multiplies numbers. However, it could also perform addition, subtraction and division. For such arithmetic operations, place the appropriate operator such as "plus" (+), "minus" (-), or "slash" (/) between the array arguments supplied to the SUMPRODUCT function.

Given-

Range of A1:A4 consists of values 1,2,3,4 and the range B1:B4 consists of the values 9,8,7,6 .

Find-

Find the value of the sum product (B1:B4,A1;A4)

Solution-

        A          B

1         1           9

2        2          8

3        3          7

4        4          6

                  70

       A          B

1        1           9

2        2          8

3        3           7

4        4           6

5                      =SUMPRODUCT(B1:B4,A1:A4)

Hence, the value of the sumproduct is 70.
