ANSWER:------

given the ratio of two complementary angle is 2 : 3

complementary angles are two angles whose sum is 90°

let the two angles be 2x and 3x respectively.

since their sum is 90°,

→ 2x + 3x = 90°

→ 5x = 90°

→ x = 90/5

→ x = 18°

hence, the angles are :-

1. 2x = 2 × 18 = 36°

2. 3x = 3 × 18 = 54°

Answer :-

One Angle is 36° and second angle is 54°.

Explanation :-

Given :

The Ratio of the angles = 2:3

To find :

The measures of the angle

Solution :

As we know, Complementary angles are the angles which sum up and make 90°.

Consider one Angle as 2x

Consider second Angle as 3x

\tt{\implies}2x + 3x = 90

\tt{\implies}5x = 90

\tt{\implies}x =  \dfrac{90}{5}

\tt{\implies}x = 18

Value of 2x

\tt{\implies}2 \times x

\tt{\implies}2 \times 18

\tt{\implies}36

Value of 3x

\tt{\implies}3 \times x

\tt{\implies}3 \times 18

\tt{\implies}54

\therefore One Angle is 36° and second angle is 54°.

Verification :-

\tt{\implies}36 + 54 = 90

\tt{\implies}90 = 90

\therefore One Angle is 36° and second angle is 54°.
