 Let \:l \: and \: b \: are \: length \: and \\breadth \: of \: a\: rectangle

 perimeter \: of \: rectangle (P) = 2(l+b)

/* According to the problem given */

 Ratio \: of \: length \: and \: perimeter \\= 2 : 5

 \implies {l}{2(l+b)} = \frac{2}{5}

 \implies 5l = 4(l+b)

 \implies 5l = 4l + 4b

 \implies 5l - 4l =  4b

 \implies l =  4b

 \implies \frac{l}{b} = \frac{4}{1}

Therefore.,

 \red { Ratio \:of \: length \: and \: breadth } \\\green {= 4 : 1 }
