If the ratio of adjacent sides of a parallelogram is 3:5 and its perimeter is 320 cm, then the length of the longer side will be.

Let the sides be 3x and 5x

2 ( 8x ) = 96

8x = 96 / 2

8x = 48

x = 48 / 8

x = 6

Side₁ = 3x = 3 * 6 = 18 cm

Side₂ = 5x = 5 * 6 = 30 cm
