Given angles of the triangles,

2:3:4

Let the measure of there angle be x

Therefore,

2x+3x+4x=180°(Angle sum property of triangle)

9x=180°

x=180°/9

x=20°

Therefore,

2x = 2×20°

= 40°

3x = 3×20°

= 60°

4x = 4×20°

=80°

Therefore,

Value of the smaller angle is 40°

Answer:40 degree

Step-by-step explanation:

let the angles be 2x , 3x, and 4x

now 2x+3x+4x = 180                                    (angle sum property)

x = 20

then the three angles will be 40 degree , 60 degree  and 80 degree

therefore the smallest angle is 40 degree
