so, the ratio is 225:256
i.e. 225/256
area of a square = (length of one side)^2
ratio of their sides = root of 225/root of 256
i.e. 15/16
perimeter of a square = 4*side
ratio of their perimeters = 4*15/4*16
i.e. 60:64
simplify it
60:64 = 15:16
therefore, ratio of their perimeters = 15:16
i.e. 225/256
