In context to question asked,

We have to determine the loss percentage.

As per question,

The ratio of cost price and selling prices are in the ratio 4:3.

So, let the CP = 4x

SP = 3x

As here, value of SP is greater than the value of CP.

So, there will be loss in this case.

So, for determining the value of loss we will determine the difference between CP and SP.

So, loss will be = (4x - 3x) = x

So, loss percentage will be,

=\frac{x}{4x}\times 100\%\\=>\frac{1}{4}\times 100\%\\=>25\%

Hence, value of loss percentage will be 25%.
