A correction -Instead of ratio it should be radius

Let the radius of cylinder be r

Let the height of cylinder be h

Curved surface area of cylinder =2 pie r h

According to question

Radius=r/2

Height=2h

Curved surface area=2×pie×r/2×2h

=> Curved surface area=2 pie rh

hence, curved surface area remains unchanged
