Let the length and breadth be 3x and 2x respectively.
2(2x+3x)=40
x=40/10
x=4
Length =3x=12 ans

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)
let
length=3x
breadth=2x
hence
40= 2(3x + 2x)
solve this and u will get the answer
hope it helps
