Ratio of radius = x:y
Volume of sphere = 4/3 π r^3
Ratio of volume = (4/3πr^3) ÷ (4/3πr'^3)
= r^3 ÷ r'^3.
[4/3π being common cancels out]
= x^3 ÷ y^3
Hence, ratio of volume = x^3/y^3
