If the ratio of the absica and ordinate is 3:2 find 5x-2y=12

Hi Mate !!!


The ratio of absica to ordinate = 2 / 3 = x /y


=. 2y = 3x


Now put value of 2y in the equation. 5x- 2y = 12


We get

5x - 3x = 12

x = 6

And

y =9
