(A/B)² = 9/1
A/B = √9/1
A/B = 3/1
perimeter ratio is
3×4/1×4
12/4

let the side of the first square be X and of second square be y.
so, area of first square = x square and area of second square = y square .
then ratio of the area of both of the square =x square / y square = 9/1
then, x / y = 3 / 1
therefore, ratio of their perimeter =4x / 4y = 12/4 = 3 / 1 = 3:1
