Answer:

Let length and breadth be 5x and 3x .

Given perimeter of rectangle is 144m.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

144=2(8x)

144=16x

9=x

5x=45m and 3x=27m

Therefore length of rectangle is 45m.

Answer:

let the length and breadth of rect. be x

then,length = 5x and breath = 3x

perimeter of rectangle = 2( l + b ) = 144

2( 5x + 3x ) =144

2( 8x) = 144

16x = 144

x = 144/16

x = 9

length is 5x = 5 × 9 = 45

so , it's length is 45 m
