if the ratio of the length to the breadth of a rectangle be 5 ratio 3 and its perimeter is 144 M, find the length of the rectangle .

Let the length be 5x and breadth be 3x

So perimeter =2(l+b)

144=2(5x+3x)

144/2=8x

72/8=x

X=9

5x(length )=5*9=45cm sorry metre

3x(br3adth )=3*9=27m

Therefore length =45m
