the ratio of the length and breadth of a rectangle =5:3
so, let the length be 5x
breadth be 3x
as we know perimeter of a rectangle =2(l+b)
the given perimeter = 144
so,
2 ( 5x + 3x ) =144
8x=144/2
x = 72/8
thus x = 9

the taken lenth = 5x
so length = 5×9
=45
so the length is 45m
