Kk, if I say there is a 2:5 ratio of red pencils to blue pencils and there are 15 blue pencils, then there must be 6 red, because 15 is 3 x 5, so we must do 3 x 2.

We have a ratio of 2:3:4. Since the shortest side is 4, it must go in the place of the smallest number, 2 in this case.

Since 4 is double 2, we must double the other numbers.

The other two sides are 6 and 8.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

let the angle sides be 2x 3x and 4x .

according to question,

  • 2x= 4cm
  • x = 2cm

The length of 2 side = 3x = 3 x 2cm = 6cm

The length of 3rd side = 4x = 4 × 2cm = 8cm

Thanks
