Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the rationale between the mixture of milk and water be x and the let two milk water solutions are A and B respectively

In A milk - water solution:

The milk and water are 3:5 means there is 3x milk and 5x water.

In B milk - water solution:

The milk and water are 4 : 7 means there is 4x milk and 7x water.

The two solution A and B are mixed in the ratio 2 : 3

Now in mixture 2 (3x milk & 5x water) + 3 (4x milk & 7x water)

Total milk and water in mixture of A and B

6x milk & 10x water + 12x milk & 21x water

Total milk = 6x + 12x = 18x

Total water = 10x + 21x = 31x

The ratio of milk and water = 18x : 31x

Answer the ratio of milk and water in mixture of two milk solution is 18x : 31x. If x is considered as 1 litre than for 18 litre of milk there is 31 litres of water.
