If the ratio of two no is 2:3 and their LCM is 180 then what is the lowest no?

let no is 2x and 3x .

lcm of 2x and 3x is 6x .


so , 6x = 180

=> 6x = 180

=> x = 180/6= 30

so the number
2x = 2× 30= 60

3x = 3× 30= 90

Let the numbers are 2x and 3x

Here, the HCF is x

Now,

=> Product of two numbers = LCM × HCF

=> 2x × 3x = 180 × x

=> 6x = 180 => x = 30

So, 2x = 2 × 30 = 60

So, the lowest number is 60.
