=> i = 60°. So, the angle of incidence must be 60°.

Answer :-

Here, A = 60°, μ = 1.732

Angle of minimum deviation given by δm.

μ = sin [ (A + δm) / 2 ] / sin A/2

1.732 =  sin ( 30 + δm/2 ) / 1/2

sin ⁻¹(0.866) = 30 + δm /2

60° = 30° + δm /2

∴  δm = 60° -- where δm is angle of minimum deviation
