SEE
refractive index(of a substance) =
speed of light in vacuum / speed of light in that medium
We know Diamond refractive index = 2.42
And speed of light in vacuum = 3X10^8m/s
So,
speed of light in diamond = 3x 10^8 / 2.42
= 1.24 x 10^8 m/s
THANKS:)
