If the refractive index of glass and water with respect to air are 3/2 and 4/3 then calculate refractive index of glass with respect to water?​

Refractive index of water w.r.t air = 4/3

Refractive index of glass w.r.t air = 3/2

Therefore, refractive index of water with respect to glass

= Refractive index of water / Refractive index of glass

= (4/3) / (2/3)

                 ? = 8 / 9

Also, refractive index of glass with respect to water  

= Refractive index of glass / Refractive index of water

         = (3/2) / (4/3)

      ? = 9/8
