HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

Refractive index of water wrt air (water n air)= 4/3

Refractive index of glass wrt air (glass n air) = 3/2

Refractive index of glass wrt water ( glass n water) = (glass n air)× (air n water) = (glass n air)× (1/water n air) = 4/3 × 2/3 = 8/9.

My above answer written by me was wrong. The correct answer is not 8/9 but rather 9/8.

Refractive index of water wrt air= 4/3

Refractive index of glass wrt to air = 3/2

Refractive index of air wrt water = 1/(refractive index of water wrt air) = 1/(4/3) = 3/4

Refractive index of glass wrt water = (Refractive index of glass wrt air) × (refractive index of air wrt water) = (3/2) × (3/4) = 9/8.

Therefore Option C

Answer:

The answer is 2/3.

Explanation:

The Refractive index stands even directed as the refraction index. In electromagnetic waves, the velocity exists dependent on the optical density of the medium. Optical density exists the tendency of the atoms in a material to convert the absorbed electromagnetic energy.

It is provided that, the refractive index of glass concerning air is 3/2.

To discover the refractive index of air concerning glass.

Here,

${ }^{\mathrm{a}} \mu_{\mathrm{g}}=\frac{\mathrm{n}_{\mathrm{g}}}{\mathrm{n}_{\mathrm{a}}}=\frac{3}{2}$ and,

${ }^{\mathrm{g}^{\mathrm{a}}} \mu_{\mathrm{a}}=\frac{\mathrm{n}_{1}}{\mathrm{n}_{2}}=\frac{2}{3}$

If the refractive index of glass with respect to air exists 3/2, then the refractive index of air with respect to glass will be its reciprocal 2/3.

Hence, The answer is 2/3.
