20

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be x

According to question

square of the number - number = 4 times the number

x² - x = 4x

x² - 5x = 0

x(x - 5) = 0

x - 5 = 0

x = 5

∴ Desired  Number is 5

Check

5² - 5

=  25 - 5

= 20 which is 4 times of 5
