If the remainder of the x³-kx²+3x-2 when divided by x-1 is 4,find then value of k​

So, x=1

By putting the value of x in p(x), we get,

=(1)^3-(1)^2+3×1-2=4

=1-k+3-2=4

=(-k)+4-2=4

=(-k)+2=4

=k=4-2

=k=(-2)

So, Here The value of k =(-2).
