Given :-

  • The resistance of a conductor is 2 ohm is
  • connected to 5 v cell

To find :-

  • Current following through circuit.

Solution :-

  • Resistance = 2 ohm

  • Potential difference = 5V

According to Ohm's law

The law states the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across the ends of conductor provide the temperature and other physical condition remains the same.

  • V = IR

Where " V " is potential difference, " I " is current and " R " is resistance.

According to question

→ V = IR

Now put values

→ 5 = I × 2

→ I = 5/2

→ I = 2.5A

Hence,

  • Current flowing through conductor is 3A(approx)
