If the resistor of resistance 4 ohm is turned by an angle 180 degree then its resistance gets doubled what will be the new resistance

As Resistance is inversely proportional to cross sectional area and if we turn it the cross sectional area will get doubled
.•. Resistance will get halved
So the new resistance would be 2 ohms

=> 4 ohm is inversely proportional to cross sectional area

.•. 4 ohm = 1/cross sectional area
{Here I used '=' instead of sign of proportionality as my phone doesn't support it}
And as we turn the resistor to 180°, the cross sectional are is doubled
.•. 4 ohm will get halved to 2 ohm.
