given, tanQ = 12/5

so , PERPENDICULAR / BASE = 12/5 hence

perpendicular = 12 and base = 5

applying Pythagoras theorem

(hypotenuse) square = (12) square +(5) square
(hypotenuse) square = 144 +25
(hypotenuse ) square = 169
so (hypotenuse ) = 13


therefore sinQ= p/b
sinQ =12/13
