f = 50 hz , I = 5 A, t = 1/300 secs

We know that

Io = peak value = √2 I

      = √2 x 5 A  

I = Io sin ω  t

= 5√2 sin 2 π νt x 1/300

= 5√2 sin 2 π x 50 x 1 / 300

= 5√2 sin 60  

= 5√2 x √3 / 2

I = 5√3 / √2 A
