To Find - Quadratic equation having roots 6 and 7.

Solution - The quadratic equation having solution a and b is -

x^{2} - (a+b)x + ab = 0

In the given question a= 6 and b = 7. Putting the value of a and b in above equation, we get-

a+b = 6+7 = 13

ab =6×7 = 42

This implies that, the quadratic equation is -

x^{2} -13x +42 = 0
