b square - 4×a×c=0

-6×-6-4×2×k=0

36 - 8 × k =0
-8k = -36
8k= 36
k= 9÷2

Jocker95: This is wrong because 8k is multiple and 36 is also addeble.

2x^2-6x+k=0

a=2 b=-6 c=k

roots are real and equal

b^2-4ac=0

(-6)^2-4×2×k=0

36-8k=0

-8k=-36

k=-36/-8

k=9/2
