If the roots of (k+1)x^2-2(k-1)x+1=0 are real and equal; then find the value of k

If roots are real then it satisfies the condition that b^2-4ac=0
here b is equals to minus 2 ( k - 1 )and a is equals to (K + 1) and C is equals to 1.
putting in the first equation we get,
K is equal to either one or two.
