Answer:-

Given:-

  • ax²+b+c=0 has equal roots

To find:-

  • Value of " c "

Solution:-

Discriminant of ax²+bx+c=0 is

D=√b²+4ac

For equal roots value of D=0

⇒√b²-4ac=0

⇒b²-4ac=0

⇒4ac=b²

c=b²/4a

Therefore, the value of c is " b²/4a"

Answer:

Given:

  • The roots of a quadratic equation ax²+bx+c=0 are equal.

To find:

  • The value of c.

Answer:

If the roots of quadratic equation are real,

Then the condition is,

determinant,D=0

 {b}^{2}  - 4ac = 0

 {b}^{2}  = 4ac

c =  \frac{ {b}^{2} }{4a}
