Solution :-

Given :- $\sf{Fraction = \dfrac{3}{5}}$

Let the same number which is added to both Numerator & denominator be x.

$\rightarrow{\sf{\dfrac{3 + x}{5 + x} = \dfrac{3}{4}}}$

By Cross Multiplication :-

$\rightarrow{\sf{4 (3 + x) = 3 (5 + x)}}$

$\rightarrow{\sf{12 + 4x = 15 + 3x}}$

$\rightarrow{\sf{4x - 3x = 15 - 12}}$

$\rightarrow{\boxed{\sf{x = 3}}}$

Verification :-

$\rightarrow{\sf{\dfrac{3 + x}{5 + x} = \dfrac{3}{4}}}$

$\rightarrow{\sf{\dfrac{3 + 3}{5 + 3} = \dfrac{3}{4}}}$

$\rightarrow{\sf{\dfrac{6}{8} = \dfrac{3}{4}}}$

$\rightarrow{\sf{\dfrac{3}{4} = \dfrac{3}{4}}}$
