Answer:

according to question :-

CP of 15 rulers = x

SP of 10 = x

SP of 5 rulers = x/10*5 = x/2

so gain = SP of 5 rulers = x/2

now gain %= x/2 /x * 100 = x/2*x *100 = 100/2 = 50%

answer-

the cp of 15 rulers is equal to the sp of 10 rulers

let the cp of 1 ruler be 1

so cp of 15 ruler is 1*15=15

now, cp of 15 ruler is 15,

and sp of 10 rulers is equal to the cp of 15 rulers

so, sp of 10 rulers = 15

sp of 1 ruler = 15/10

sp of 1 ruler = 1.5

now, cp of a ruler = 1

sp of a ruler = 1.5

sp>cp,profit

profit= 1.5-1

profit=0.5

so, profit% = p*100/cp

profit% = 0.5*100/1

profit% = 50/1

profit % = 50%

hope it helps

have a nice day
