-------- method 1 -------
let the cost price of one bottle is x rs

so cost of 17 bottles = 17x

selling price of 16 bottles = 17x

so selling price of 1 bottles is = 17x /16

cost price x rs
selling price 17x /16 rs

so profit = 17x /16 - x

= 17x - 16x /16

profit = x /16 rs

x rs cost -------- x/16 profit

100 rs cost ---------- ?

profit percentage = 6.25 %

----------method 2 ---------

17 - 16 = 1

1 profit -------- 16 cost

? profit -------- 100 cost

= 6.25 %
