HEY !!! HERE IS UR ANSWER

____________________________________________________

Let the cost price of 1 orange be ₹x.

Thus, cost price of 18 oranges, CP=₹ 18x

Selling price of 18 oranges ,SP = cost price of 16 oranges

SP= 16x.

As cost price is more than selling price he has suffered a loss.

loss= CP-SP

loss= 18x - 16x

loss= 2x

loss% = loss / CP ×100

loss% =(2x /18x ×100)%

loss % =  100/9

loss% = 11.1%

Loss % is 11.11%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Selling price of 18 oranges = Cost price of 16 oranges

So, 18 S.P. = 16 C.P.

So, it becomes,

\dfrac{SP}{CP}=\dfrac{16}{18}=\dfrac{8}{9}

Loss = CP - SP = 9x-8x=x

So, Loss % would be

\dfrac{Loss}{CP}\times 100\\\\=\dfrac{x}{9x}\times 100\\\\=\dfrac{100}{9}\\\\=11.11\%

Hence, Loss % is 11.11%.
