 \to Gain % = 15 %

\large \underline{ \bold{ \underline{ \:  Explaination : \:  \: \:  \:  }}}

Let ,

 \to Selling price of 20 articles = x

Now , Selling price of 1 article = \frac{x}{20}

 \to Selling price of 23 articles =  \frac{23x}{20}

Also , it is given that Cost price of 23 articles = x

Cost price < Selling price

Hence , there is a gain in the transaction

 \to  \bold{ Gain =  \frac{23x}{20} - x  } \\  \\  \to  \bold{Gain =   \frac{3x}{20} }

Now ,

 \to \bold{Gain \:   \% =  \frac{ \: 3x \: }{ \frac{20}{x} }   \times 100  }\\  \\ \to  \bold{ Gain \:   \% =    \frac{3}{20}  \times 100} \\  \\    \to \bold{Gain  \:  \% =   15 \: \%}</p><p>
