Volume of wood required = V

V = a³

= ( 3.5 cm )³

= 42.875 cm³

Or

V = ( 3.5 cm )³

= ( 35×35×35 )/(10×10×10)

= ( 7×7×7)/(2×2×2)

= 343/8 cm³
