If the side of a cube is doubled, by how much percent does its volume increase?

Side=t Volume=l*b*h =t 3 Now if side is doubled then side=2t Volume=2t*2t*2t=8t 3 Hence its volume increases by 8 times

Since it is a cube, so side = a cm........ and volume = a^3 ............ If side is doubled then side = 2*a= 2a....... and vol. = 2a^3 = 8a cm ^3........... Therefore if side of the cube is doubled then its volume increases by 8 times....
