TO DETERMINE

The area of the circle that can be inscribed in a square of side 16 cm

EVALUATION

Here we have to find the area of the circle that can be inscribed in a square of side 16 cm

The side of the square = 16 cm

Now the diameter of the circle = The side of the square

So radius of the circle

= 16/2 cm

= 8 cm

Hence the required area of the circle

= π × (8)² cm²

= 64π cm²
