if the side of a squre is tripled, how many times the perimeter of the first square will that of the new squre be?

it would be 12 times the previous square

let the side = 2cm
perimeter = 8cm

if the side is tripled
side=6cm
perimeter=24cm

So, if the side of a square is tripled the perimeter is also tripled.
