Answer:

This triangle is a right angle triangle because, it proves the Pythagoras theorem.✓✓

As,

 {12}^{2}  +  {5}^{2}  =  {13}^{2}

144 + 25 = 169

Answer:

This is a Right Δ .

Step-by-step explanation:

Sides of the Δ given :

13 cm, 12 cm and 5 cm.

To check this, we will simply check that, whether it's a Pythagorean triplet or not. By this we can easily derive if it's a right Δ.

As we know , in the Pythagorean theorem, the side which is exactly at the opposite side of the right angle is equal to the both of the other sides.

a² + b² = c²

5² + 12² = 13²

 [ we will put the longest side on the other side ]

25 + 144 = 169

169 = 169

So, this triangle is a right angle.
