(ANGLE SUM PROPERTY OF TRIANGLE)

ALSO

∠2 + ∠1 = 180 (LINEAR PAIR AXIOM) ---------------(II)

FROM (I) & (II)

∠2 + ∠1 = ∠2 + ∠3 + ∠4

SO

⇒ ∠1 = ∠3 + ∠4

HENCE PROVED
