According to the question,

The side of the cube is 41 cm.

We have to find the,

We know that,

The L.S.A of a cube = The C.S.A of a cube = The area of 4 walls.

➝ The Curved Surface Area = 4a²

➝ 4 × 41 × 41

➝ 4 × 1681

6724 cm²

The Total Surface Area = 6a²

➝ 6 × 41 × 41

➝ 6 × 1681

10086 cm²

Formula related to cube :-

  • Total Surface Area = 6a²

  • Curved Surface Area = 4a²

  • Volume of cube = a³

  • Diagonal of a cube = √3 a

Answer:

Given:-

  • Side of the cube (a) = 41 cm

To Find:-

  • Total Surface Area

  • Lateral Surface Area

Formula used:-

  • TSA of Cube = 6a²

  • CSA of Cube = 4a²

Solution:-

TSA of Cube = 6a²

TSA of Cube = 6(41)²

TSA of Cube = 6 × 1,681

TSA of Cube = 10,086 cm² or 10.086 m²

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

CSA of Cube = 4a²

CSA of Cube = 4(41)²

CSA of Cube = 4 × 1,681

CSA of Cube = 6,724 cm² or 6.724 m²

Hence, the TSA and CSA of the cube are 10,086 cm² and 6,724 cm² respectively.
