hi friend,
if the side of the rhombus is ten cm and diagonal is 16cm then actually the formula of rhombus is 1/2×sum of it's diagonal
according to the given situation
we do not have the other diagonal so let it be x then
area=1/2×16+x
then you have to solve this I have explained so much and if now you have any mistake inform me I will solve it please drop a message in the comments
I hope this will help you a lot

swarna6: thanks
knegi6: pls solve it
knegi6: i am not able to solve it

given side of rhombus=10
diagonal=16
All sides of rhombus are equal; therefore s×4=10×4=40
since sides are equal diagonals are also equal .
let p and q be the diagonals
so,p=16&q=16
area of rhombus=pq\2
16×16/2
256\2
128
verification:
128=16×q\2
128×2=16q
256=16q
q=256÷16
q=16
