Since the sides are in the ratio is 8:4:6
So let sides be 8x ,4x,6x
According to question
perimeter=72 cm
8x+4x+6x=72
18x=72 cm
x=72/18
=4cm

Sides are 8x=8*4=32 cm
6x=6*4=24 cm
4x=4*4=16 cm

Area=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

s= 32+24+16/2
= 72/2
=36 cm
Area=√36(36-32)(36-24)(36-16)
=√36(4*12*20)
=√36*960
=6*30.98
185.88 cm square
