Answer:

The length and breadth of the Rectangle is

48 m and 32 m respectively

Step-by-step explanation:

Given-:

The sides are in ratio 3:2

Area of the rectangle is 1536 m²

To find-:

The length and breadth of the Rectangle

Solution -:

Let's the sides be x

Then, Ratio will be ; 3x and 2x

As we know that the area of Rectangle formula is :-

Length × Breadth

  • Area of rectangle given 1536m²

Area of Rectangle = L × B

⇒1,536 = 3x × 2x

⇒1,536 = 6x²

⇒6x² = 1,536

⇒x² = 1536/6

⇒x² = 256

⇒x = √256

⇒x = 16

We got the value of x as 16

Finding Sides:-

➵ 3x ⇒ (3)(16) = 48 m

And

➵ 2x ⇒ (2)(16) = 32 m

Hence , the length is 48 m and Breadth is 32 m.

More Information:-

Area of Square = (side)²

Area of Circle = π r²

Area of Rectangle = l×b

Area of Triangle = 1/2×base×height
